In this assignment I'm going to examine the brief story, Flight by Doris Lessing. This short-story was published in 1957, in a collection of short stories titled The Habit of Supportive. This is a vintage short story but it is an extremely popular one of many. Dorris Lessing (93) was born in 1919, in Khermanhah in Persia (now Iran) and she is a British novelist, poet, playwright, librettist, biographer and a short tale writer. Her parents were British. At the age of six, she moved to Mvuma, zimbabwe, where the lady attended a girls' university. In 49 she moved to London, where her first novel, The Grass is usually singing, was published in 1950. Now I'm going to inform you of the story.

Through this short account there is an old man who may have a granddaughter named Alice. The old person has not been given a name, so trough this story we contact him the old man. This kind of old man retains pigeons in his dovecote, which is a tall wire-netted shelf upon stilts, full of strutting, preening pigeons. He has found his additional granddaughters leave the house, marry and grow up and Alice is the only granddaughter remaining who he has. The author of this brief story have not written wherever this tale takes place in this tale a frangipani tree is mentioned as well as the frangipani woods are indigenous to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South usa as much south since Brazil but can be produced in tropical sub-tropical parts. So this means that the story happens in some of these regions. Now this man won't want her to marry and leave him since then he will be still left alone while using pigeons. Solitude is what he rather stay away from. On the other side, Alice wants to keep because this lady has found a boy named Charlie, the postmaster's son. He could be described as red-handed, red-throated, violent-bodied youth. So that means that he is white and Alice is usually brown-skinned. They are really in take pleasure in and they need to marry but it is all up to the old fart. If he doesn't need her to leave, after that she will not...
